We are hosting weekly Zoom Q&A meetings for Anatomy. You will also be able to attend weekly Zoom sessions for feedback on your practice teaching. We have Zoom sessions for philosophy, and adjustments. Our training of course offers the opportunity for you to receive feedback on your own asana alignment.
You can attend as many Zoom sessions as you'd like (no limit) but are required to attend a minimum of 2 per category.
The Key Muscles of Yoga, Volume 1, Ray Long
The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali by Swami Satchidananda
The Bhagavad Gita by Eknath Easwaran
Notice: Pursuant to Yoga Alliance's new temporary provisions for COVID-19, all of our yoga teacher trainings are moving online to support aspiring teachers and new trainees.
Our teacher training program is focused on providing outstanding training at an extraordinary value. We strive to maintain small training groups, offering future teachers more individual attention and the ability to develop a deeper level of knowledge of anatomy, alignment and yoga philosophy while finding their own unique voice as a teacher.
Although we offer open enrollment, you will be grouped into a teacher training class based on your enrollment date and you will attend Zoom sessions with other members in your teacher training group.
While you're free to move through assigned videos and reading in the training at your own pace, we ask that you keep in mind the following timeline for completion if you intend to register with Yoga Alliance:
Body Assessment Forms should be completed by 6/15 at the latest
5 Asana Forms should be completed by 6/20 at the latest
5 Class Plans should be completed by 6/20 at the latest
Final Project and/or Final Exam should be completed by 6/26 at the latest
Remember, you have LIFELONG ACCESS to our material and can continue to access and enjoy through the material beyond June 30, but the course requirements have to be met by these dates if you're planning to register with Yoga Alliance.
